A follow-up from Kate
The creator of Comic Sans is a bitter, bitter man, though I agree that the real problem with the font isn't that it was ever created, but that Microsoft decided to make it ubiquitious and people decided to use it for the same reason that some people think a great homepage needs background music. The way he repeats himself and his defense word-for-word in even casual forums he links to, though … well, you can just hear the deranged cackling.
